Nazgul King Release Date Set for 2027

The Lord of the Rings features a variety of strange, wonderful, and terrifying creatures that appear throughout the narrative, but some truly stand out. The Balrog is immediately memorable after its epic battle with Gandalf the Grey; however, it may not be the most unsettling entity.

This notoriety likely belongs to the Nazgûl, the nine fallen men who received rings of power from Sauron and became his most devoted servants. Much of their fearsome reputation stems from Peter Jackson’s portrayal, which is set to be immortalized in one of this year’s most premium physical releases.

On the Sideshow website, you can find the listing for the Nazgûl King Art Mask, a hyperrealistic 29″ polyresin, glass, and silicone bust. This mask depicts the appearance Frodo sees when he dons the One Ring—the true form hidden beneath those black robes.

The figure is presumably the Witch King (though not confirmed in the films), and if you don’t find it too frightening to display in your home, it could serve as a stunning centerpiece for any collection. The creators shared insights into what fans can expect from this product:

“Step into the shadow of Middle-earth and the Unseen with this premium Art Mask of the Nazgûl King, captured in his terrifying spectral form as he confronts Frodo. Inspired by the haunting scene at the ruins of Weathertop, this masterpiece embodies the chilling presence of the Ringwraith at the height of his menace.

“Crafted with exceptional realism, the mask features silicone skin, glass eyes, and individually hand-punched hair, delivering an unparalleled lifelike finish despite his wraithlike form. Every fold, texture and decaying detail has been meticulously sculpted to reflect his corrupted existence between worlds. The display support is designed as the Morgul blade planted into the castle ruins, recreating the dramatic moment of attack. A haunting centerpiece for collectors and fans of The Lord of the Rings.”

The images shown above are of an early prototype of this product, with shipping expected between April 2027 and June 2027. As anticipated, all that exquisite detail comes at a price, with an expected outlay of $1305.

There’s much more for Lord of the Rings fans to look forward to as well, with Season 3 of Rings of Power coming later this year. Additionally, The Hunt for Gollum will premiere in 2027, and if it matches the quality of the trilogy, it could mark a significant moment for fantasy films overall.
