They proudly secured the Gold Medal at the World Dance Crew Championships Pacific Qualifiers and won the Gold Medal at the Upgrade Australia Competition. The crew is set to represent New Zealand at the upcoming World Dance Crew Championship Finals, scheduled to take place in Auckland from April 14 to 19. Additionally, Orlando showcased his talent at last year’s World of Dance Finals, participating in both the opening and closing showcases, as well as performing at Flip the Switch in Los Angeles.

“Dance has always been an integral part of my life,” Orlando expressed. His experiences with IDCO and performances around the world have granted him the opportunity to train with esteemed dancers and choreographers like Riley Bourne, Kirsten Dodgen, and Joshua Cesan. With a desire to inspire others, he aims to share his knowledge and experiences with fellow dancers, both through his engaging content on Instagram and TikTok and with his own dedicated team of dancers.

Recently, Orlando assembled a talented group of nine dancers to create Crew 24. This team has achieved remarkable success, winning the Gold medal at the Pacific Qualifiers, which qualified them for the World Dance Crew Championship Finals happening this month in Auckland. In addition to this, Orlando serves as a dance ambassador for an online dance school, Shluv Academy, alongside Michael Le. His innovative choreographies on TikTok have inspired countless dancers, leading to numerous copies and tags by millions.

As the World Dance Crew Championships approach, Orlando Lucas is gearing up to take the stage once again with Crew 24, representing both Canada and New Zealand in one of the largest dance competitions globally.
