Dejanae Mackie Isn’t Letting The Internet Pick Sides For Her

Recently, Papoose’s eldest daughter, Dejanae Mackie, joined a livestream while hanging out in what appeared to be a hotel room with Claressa Shields and others. As Dejanae read through the comments from her stream, she squinted at the screen and seemed to notice some shade from someone who called her a “flip-flopper.” Dejanae didn’t name anyone specifically. She simply read the comment and said, “These people call me […] What y’all call me a flip-flopper?”

Claressa Shields also stepped in to defend Dejanae. In a video shared by LiveBitez, Shields told her that the internet stays upset, but she wasn’t bothered by the negativity. She also made it clear to viewers that she considers Dejanae to be her stepdaughter. “They be mad about nothing.” Shields added, “This my stepdaughter what the f**k you want me to do about it? He just showed up and he had kids. His kids is my step kids.”

Social Media Has Entered The Chat With Opinions On Dejanae & Claressa’s Bond

Once LiveBitez released the clip of Dejanae and Claressa Shields, people immediately began expressing their opinions in the comments section. Despite the reactions to the new video of Dejanae and Claressa hanging out, the two have actually had a solid relationship for some time now. Back in September 2025, they showcased their bond when they participated in the ‘Counting Green’ challenge. The ladies went all out representing Papoose as they danced to his ‘Counting Green’ single featuring Busta Rhymes. Papoose even commented on Dejanae’s post co-signing the moment by writing, “” I love y’all!!”
