Diarrhea Story from Kelly Clarkson During Cyclospora Outbreak

Kelly Clarkson had to break away from the stage and find a toilet fast.

During her July 18 show at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas, the American Idol alum shared a “TMI” story and joked that she may have been affected by the diarrhea-inducing cyclosporiasis infection that has broken out in certain parts of the country.

“I don’t know what’s wrong with me,” Clarkson said in a video from the concert. “I don’t know if I got that thing that people, like, eat lettuce s–t. But last night during the show, I was like, ‘Oh, my God!’ And I get back to my room, and I have never been so happy there is not a man in the room.”

In fact, the 44-year-old mentioned that if a romantic partner had witnessed her trip to the bathroom, she might end up being Miss Independent, adding, “He for sure would never make sweet love to this again.”

Plus, she referenced the iconic Bridesmaids scene where Kristen Wiig, Maya Rudolph and Melissa McCarthy’s characters are overcome with sudden spells of food poisoning, noting, “Bridesmaids ain’t got s–t on what happened in my room.”
