Robin Roberts and Diane Sawyer are sharing a heartfelt good morning during a touching reunion.
The Good Morning America host reconnected with her former co-anchor on the set of the beloved morning show, sharing a lovely photo from their time together.
“Longtime @goodmorningamerica fabulous camera operator ‘Nuge’ captured this candid photo and sent it to me with the caption: ‘Just like old times….’” Roberts shared on Instagram on Oct. 6. “I cherish these special moments with the incomparable @dianesawyer.”
“Such wisdom, such grace,” the 65-year-old remarked, “such a dear beautiful friend.”
In the image, Roberts and Sawyer, 80, were deeply engaged in conversation on the famous GMA couch. Sawyer was featured in the episode to discuss her interview with Michael Douglas regarding his new memoir, One Helluva Ride.
And what a journey Roberts and Sawyer had, with Roberts joining GMA in 2002 and collaborating with Sawyer, who was part of the program from 1999 until 2009, when she transitioned to host ABC World News.
