Russell Wilson wants to draft a new member to his team.
Indeed, the retired NFL quarterback said he is open to expanding his family’s roster—and is hoping his wife Ciara will give the green light.
“We have four amazing kids and I’m trying to convince Ciara to have a fifth,” Russell told E! News during an exclusive interview at Fanatics Fest in New York City on July 17. “Cinco, you got to be on the way soon.”
But as it turns out, the 37-year-old—dad to kids Sienna Princess, 9, Win Harrison, 5, and Amora Princess, 19 months, with Ciara, as well as stepdad to son Future Zahir, 12, from Ciara’s previous relationship with rapper Future—may not have much play-calling to do.
“I want to have five, Ciara does too,” he continued. “We’ll see. Hopefully, I can convince her.”
Of course, Russell—who celebrated a decade of marriage with Ciara earlier this month—has been vocal about how much he loves being a dad and what the role has taught him, especially when it comes to being a stepdad to Future.
