Sculpted Dress with Slim Straps: Eva Longoria Shines at AFI Awards

It is pretty clear that Eva Longoria wasn’t really trying to reinvent the wheel with her latest gasp-worthy black dress ensemble, and that’s exactly why this worked so very well. In her new Instagram carousel, she went for a simply sassy gown, which was clean, sculpted, and just unapologetically confident.

Eva Longoria turns heads in black dress

Have a look at Eva Longoria’s latest Instagram photos in a stunning black number below:

Longoria’s stylish black velvet and satin gown featured slim spaghetti straps and a plunging V-neckline, which gave the look its edge without tipping into excess. There was also a quiet precision to the tailoring, especially through the waist and hips, which did most of the heavy lifting.

The backless outfit undoubtedly hugged the Desperate Housewives star’s curves in all the right places, with a smooth, almost liquid finish that moved effortlessly down into a soft flare at the hemline. It also clearly elongated her frame, while helping her show off her applause-worthy curves to pure perfection.

However, it wasn’t just the black gown that made Eva Longoria look incredible at the AFI Awards. Even the styling game, with smokey makeup and open hair, was clearly on point. Moreover, she finished off the look with simple diamond studs, a two-layer choker, and sheer black gloves on her right hand.

Meanwhile, fans were stunned by the 51-year-old’s timeless style, with one commenting, “You haven’t changed for many years.” Another wrote, “You look beautiful, Eva! The makeup is popping up your whole look!” As of writing, Longoria’s post has received 95.8K likes.
