Skaar, Hulk’s Son, Revealed in Stunning New Look from Marvel

Skaar, the son of Hulk, is making a dramatic return to Marvel Comics, but in an almost unrecognizable form. The character has spent years on the sidelines despite being one of Hulk’s most powerful children. While Marvel continues to focus on its latest Hulk storyline, Skaar’s reappearance could suggest that he may have a bigger role in the coming chapters.

Spoilers ahead.

Skaar has traded his familiar look for fur and a giant hammer

Marvel has unveiled a new look for Skaar in Infernal Hulk #8. The Hulk’s son returns with a noticeably different appearance, making him almost unrecognizable compared to the version fans have known for years.

This look is revealed when the Avengers and the Fantastic Four venture into the Infernal Hulk’s domain. Bruce Banner is unable to transform into the Hulk, and during their mission, the team encounters Skaar, who has been surviving underground alongside the Rutlings, the realm’s creatures.

The new version of Skaar swaps his familiar warrior attire for a rugged outfit. While he still has long hair, he has fur wrapped around his waist and wields a hammer. The hammer appears ordinary, with a stone head and a wooden handle. The new look suggests he has adapted to the realm’s harsh environment.

Skaar and the Avengers’ encounter soon turns violent as Skaar attacks them and asks his father why he came back. Bruce tries to reason with him, but Iron Man has other intentions. Fortunately, Bruce manages to de-escalate the situation and explains to Skaar that they are looking for something capable of killing the Infernal Hulk.

Soon after, the Rutlings show up and take them to a tree with mysterious power that heals Iron Man’s wounds. Skaar explains that the tree grew from the blood of the author of creation and that it keeps the evil away. Reed Richards realizes that the tree could be the key to defeating the Infernal Hulk. However, they will need another Hulk for their plan to work.
