New Trailer for Solo Leveling on Ice Musical Released
The Solo Leveling on Ice musical has unveiled a brand new trailer across its official social media platforms.
This ice show adaptation of the popular webtoon and anime series introduces a new cast for its upcoming performances. South Korean figure skater and World silver medalist Cha Junhwan takes on the role of protagonist Sung Jinwoo.
In addition to Cha Junhwan, several new actors join the cast. Kim Yerim plays Jinwoo’s love interest, Cha Hae-in, while Choi Woohyuk takes on the role of Yoo Jinho. South Korean influencer AMY portrays Jinwoo’s old friend, Loo Joohee, and Lee Si Hyung plays Igris. The show originally premiered at Mokdong Indoor Ice Rink in Seoul, South Korea, last December, with K-pop idol Kim Jinhwan from the group IKON starring as Sung Jinwoo during that initial run.
The updated production will return to Mokdong Indoor Ice Rink from August 7 to 17, 2026. Since its release two weeks ago, the trailer has already garnered over 239,000 views on YouTube. Furthermore, this ice show is one of several ongoing projects related to Solo Leveling.
The franchise continues to expand beyond its original webtoon and anime origins. The second season of the anime concluded in 2025, and producers have confirmed that Season 3 will be released later this year. Additionally, a Netflix live-action adaptation is also in active development. The anime follows E-rank hunter Sung Jinwoo, who acquires a unique ability to level up after a near-death experience.
Fans can stream Seasons 1 and 2 on Crunchyroll in anticipation of the next chapter’s release.
