2026 is already shaping up to be a major year for Rebecca Ferguson, and it seems like her momentum will only continue to build in the months ahead. She kicked things off by starring opposite Chris Pratt in the polarizing sci-fi blockbuster Mercy, which underperformed in theaters but later gained strong traction on streaming. There was plenty of movement behind A House of Dynamite in the months leading up to release, with some positioning it as a potential darling at the 2026 Oscars, but the ceremonies came and went without it earning a single nomination. It’s not even been six full months since A House of Dynamite was released in select theaters and on Netflix, but the film has already been forgotten and is no longer in the top 10 in a single country around the world. The ending, which was left up to interpretation by the fans, was particularly controversial among audiences.
