One of the most intriguing reveals comes from Phillip Kennedy Johnson and Scott Godlewski’s upcoming August 5, 2026, release, Adventures of Superman: Book of El #11. The issue features a variant cover by Lucio Parrillo depicting the Man of Steel wearing a sleeveless version of his costume, with what appears to be a metallic enhancement attached to his right arm.

On the cover, Superman is positioned so that only part of the metal brace is visible, but its presence is impossible to miss. The enhancement appears to run along the outer length of his arm from shoulder to wrist, attaching through a metallic cuff around his wrist. The structure itself has a spine-like design with pronounced ridges, while the sections closest to his wrist appear sharper and more elongated.
