Prime Video is welcoming autumn with a robust lineup of new movies and TV shows arriving in October. As always, the streamer will present a plethora of originals, while also expanding its library with timeless classics that are sure to captivate viewers as the temperatures begin to drop in the final months of 2026. In fact, Prime Video will soon showcase cinematic universes that span from the Indiana Jones series to the James Bond franchise, among others. The platform will also celebrate the spooky season with new titles perfect for Halloween.

Just weeks after Prime Video launched a mega streaming bundle, the Amazon streaming service is finally reviving Chris Pratt’s The Terminal List after a three-year break. October will also be a promising month for some of television’s most underrated period dramas, including Poldark, Sanditon, and Miss Scarlet. The new release schedule even includes some Christmas cheer alongside all the Halloween horror. The month will not lack romantic comedies on Prime Video, either, and Spaceballs will arrive just in time for the upcoming sequel.

Prime Video has enough content to offer in October that subscribers should strategize what to prioritize among the films and shows that will soon be available.
