Tyler Hubbard of Florida Georgia Line Has Fish Hook Removed From Head Thanks to Wife Hayley Hubbard
Country songwriter Tyler Hubbard faced a unique challenge when a fishing hook became lodged in his scalp.
The 39-year-old, recognized for his work with the band Florida Georgia Line, struggled to remove a fishing hook from his head during a camping trip with wife Hayley Hubbard and their children Olivia Rose, 8, Luca Reed, 6, and Atlas Roy, 5.
In a video shared on Instagram on July 26, Hayley examined the painful injury while Tyler humorously remarked, “Breakfast had to wait.”
Despite admitting that the injury was quite painful, the “Wish You Would” artist remained composed. When one of his kids asked about the incident off camera, Tyler reassured them, saying, “It’s probably not bleeding a lot, but it might bleed a little.”
Hayley, also 39, took on the role of the makeshift surgeon and carefully assessed where the barb had become embedded, although Tyler did not provide details about how the accident occurred.
