Wheel of Time Fantasy Series from Michael B. Jordan Is Coming

Prime Video loves a slice of fantasy for us all to obsess over, and it looks like we’ve just taken to the skies on the back of a dragon and spotted the nest one. After the cancellation of The Wheel of Time, the streamer has had a very obvious fantasy-shaped gap in its lineup, but now, one of the biggest romantasy phenomena of the last few years is officially moving forward as a series, with Michael B. Jordan among the major names helping bring it to screen.

Prime Video has officially ordered Fourth Wing to series, adapting Rebecca Yarros’ bestselling Empyrean novels. The project is being produced by Jordan’s Outlier Society, with Meredith Averill serving as showrunner and executive producer. Lisa Joy will direct the first episode and also executive produce, while Yarros is involved as an executive producer alongside Jordan and Elizabeth Raposo. No casting or release date has been announced yet, but the fan-casting has been ongoing for years.
