Set to launch on 17 June 2026, Night City 2045 is a “monster sourcebook providing every detail about the definitive Cyberpunk setting.” Published by Talsorian Games, this sourcebook features 312 pages worth of information about the geography, government, and logistics of Night City, “including a complete history, information on citizenship and laws, data on transportation, services, utilities, and media.” On top of that, readers can expect a deep dive into the city’s various factions and gangs, as well as a district by district breakdown, including all 24 areas. With over 600 locations to cover, including stores, clinics, gang headquarters, and more, Night City 2045 is a must-have for any Cyberpunk 2077 fan.

Well, that is definitely what one fan over on r/cyberpunkred thinks after they shared their thoughts on the upcoming release. “Night City 2045 is fantastic,” they wrote. “Sup chooms, in case you didn’t know…Night City 2045 has been digitally released, with the physical still coming out in 2 months.” In the post, the user shares all the reasons why Night City 2045 is a must-buy, including the mundane things that are fully fleshed out in this book, how it includes maps for every area of the city, and even how it would appeal to Cyberpunk 2077 and Cyberpunk Edgerunners fans still waiting for a campaign book.

“For any GM or player that has doubts about 2045, thinking it’s post-apocalyptic, this book straight up puts that to rest. Every piece of artwork for every district shows a diverse city with various levels of order. Nothing in this book gives the impression of a city with no civilization.” They concluded with “All in all, a very good book and one of the best books released for RED in a good while. If you care about worldbuilding, grab this as soon as you can.”

As mentioned, Night City 2045 launches physically this June, but its PDF can be downloaded digitally right now. So, if you are a Cyberpunk 2077 fan and want to learn about the worldbuilding that goes into creating a world such as Night City, look no further than this upcoming release.
