Peacock is pulling the plug on a show that could have served as a companion to The Day of the Jackal.
Even though The Day of the Jackal proved to be a significant hit for Peacock, courting viewers and awards buzz on the way to a season 2 renewal, the streamer’s other forays into the spy genre have not been quite so fortunate. The Copenhagen Test, led by Shang-Chi‘s Simu Liu, was cancelled after one season. Another series has now suffered the same fate.
Months after premiering, it’s been confirmed that Ponies has been cancelled at Peacock and won’t return for season 2.
