Frisco King trailer features Samuel L. Jackson in a small town takeover

Hail to the King, Baby

Sylvester Stallone hands the reins over to Samuel L. Jackson as he claims his own piece of territory in a small town. Paramount+ has just premiered the trailer for Frisco King, which sees Jackson back in gangster mode and having the time of his life. His reign in the eight-episode season begins December 18 with a two-episode premiere, followed by new episodes every Friday, exclusively on Paramount+.

The official synopsis reads,
“Frisco King follows seasoned New Orleans gangster Lee Washington as he lands in Frisco, Texas, and discovers a hustler’s playground hidden beneath the polished surface of American suburbia. Recruiting an ambitious protégé, a loyal driver, and a growing network of eccentric partners, Lee transforms small hustles into big business. But, every new score raises the stakes, and as his influence grows, so do the risks, forcing Lee to stay one grift ahead. Frisco may not know it yet, but its new king has arrived.”

New Frisco King Cast

Samuel L. Jackson will star in the series as Russell Lee Washington Jr., who was first introduced in the third season of Tulsa King. Joining him will be Asa Germann (Gen V), Kai Caster (Spider-Noir), Lilah Pate (Outer Banks), and Savanna Gann (English Teacher).

Germann will play Teddy, a sharp, savvy, entrepreneurial college dropout who gets Lee’s attention; Caster will play Keith, a polite valet at the local Sandman Hotel; Pate will play London, a local cheerleading goddess recruited by Lee, who’s not afraid to use her good looks to get what she wants; and Gann will play Avery, a fellow cheerleader and friend of London’s who’s also recruited to join Lee’s crew.
