For the Beijing photocall for “The Odyssey,” Charlize Theron opted for Look 56 from Givenchy’s Fall/Winter 206 Ready-to-Wear Collection. Crafted from sheer black floral lace, the halter dress featured a plunging neckline.

Heavily embroidered, scalloped silver borders traced the neckline, cinched waist, and central vertical seam, framing the torso with architectural precision.

Below the waist, the dress transformed into a sculpted high-low skirt. Pronounced hip panniers cascaded down into dramatic, scalloped-edge drapes, leaving two front slits that offered glimpses of her toned legs.

The see-through lace added a romantic yet bold touch to the look. The low-dipping neckline and the skirt’s slits contributed an extra layer of boldness to the dress.

Theron paired the dress with minimal black ankle-strap sandals, which peeked through the slits in the skirt.
