Ever since Daniel Craig stepped away from the role of James Bond after his final film, No Time To Die, fans have been eager to see which star will take over the role next and what their choice of style will be. While we’ve received a few significant casting updates for the role over the past few months, it seems like auditions are still ongoing for the legendary role of 007.

While we still have to wait to see which actor will lead the new era of the 007 film franchise, the series has grown far beyond both its novel and movie origins. The newest Bond star, who has already been turning heads since his appearance, has just revealed a brand-new look that we couldn’t be happier to see.

As announced on the official 007GameIOI account on X, Bond’s newest star is reprising his role once more for the first official content update to the critically acclaimed 007: First Light. This update offers two new escalation missions, three new weapons, and a brand-new suit to unlock by completing the additional objectives tied to finishing the two escalations from the surprise shadowdrop.

Both of the two Escalation missions take place in the W&A Museum gala during the ‘Uninvited’ chapter of First Light. The first focuses on ‘The Workshop’ area of the level that encourages taking down targets silently, while the second, ‘Extraction Avenues’, emphasizes escaping by any means necessary before additional reinforcements arrive.

Alongside the new levels, players will also be able to unlock a new pistol and two submachine guns which seem to be variations of a Desert Eagle, an MP5, and a Mac-10. Additionally, you’ll finally gain access to the uniquely styled diamond in the rough suit for 007, which was previously unavailable for unlocking after release in 007 First Light.

While Bond’s stylish new look isn’t going to blow you away or compensate for our anticipation of a new update for the 007 cinematic universe, this latest content update is only the tip of the iceberg for what is coming to 007 First Light from its year one content roadmap.

A brand-new story expansion has already been teased on top of these smaller content updates. It seems like the future of 007: First Light and its star Patrick Gibson are brighter than ever, offering an excellent way to relive the series’ rebooted golden age while we await an official return to the series on the big screen.
