Kyle Busch’s Wife Samantha Pays Tribute on Father’s Day After Loss

Samantha Busch’s Tribute to Father’s Day One Month After Kyle Busch’s Passing

Samantha Busch is honoring her late husband Kyle Busch.

One month after the NASCAR champion died at 41, the lifestyle blogger penned an emotional tribute on Father’s Day, reflecting on how she and Kyle’s two kids Brexton, 11, and Lennix, 4, would have celebrated the holiday before his unexpected death.

“This still doesn’t feel real at all. I was up all night thinking about what today should have looked like for Kyle and the kids,” Samantha wrote in a June 21 Instagram post alongside a touching video montage full of family memories. “The Father’s Day cards that were already made, sitting in a drawer with no one to give them to. Trying to figure out how to navigate a day that should be filled with so much joy for them.”

“He was the dad who never missed a chance to be silly,” she continued, “race the kids around the neighborhood, wrap them in his arms, or stay up a little longer for one more book, one more question, one more moment.”

The 40-year-old—who married Kyle in 2010—further praised her late husband’s dedication as a father, writing, “Nothing made him prouder than being Brexton and Lennix’s dad.”
