Kyle Busch’s Wife Samantha Shares Heartfelt Promise for Brexton

Samantha Busch is honoring her promise to her late husband Kyle Busch.

The 40-year-old shared her final conversation with her husband of 15 years, with whom she has children Brexton, 11, and Lennix, 4, before his unexpected death on May 21.

“In the hospital, I made Kyle a promise. I promised him that I would do everything I could to help our children pursue their dreams no matter what,” Samantha revealed in an emotional message shared on Instagram June 10, alongside photos of herself and their children at a North Carolina racetrack. “For Brexton, that dream is racing.”

While the late 41-year-old was a NASCAR Hall of Famer, along with his brother Kurt Busch, he allowed Brexton to discover his passion for the sport independently.

“It wasn’t a dream Kyle chose for him. It was something they shared. They spent countless hours discussing race cars, working together, dreaming together, and building a bond around something they both genuinely loved,” Samantha wrote, adding that “racing is what lights Brexton up and as long as it’s the dream in his heart, I’ll be right there beside him, cheering him on every step of the way.”
