Tiffany Haddish‘s jab at Megan Thee Stallion on Jimmy Kimmel Live! drew murmurs of disapproval. It came during her talk about the US’s loss against Belgium in the FIFA World Cup. The popular comedian guest-hosted the chat show recently, as Kimmel is on a 2-month summer break, as announced last month.

While hosting Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Haddish spoke about a range of topics, including Donald Trump and the World Cup. As she discussed the US’s recent loss in the popular tournament, she seemed to comment on Stallion’s personal life.
She initially said, “We got beat four to one by those freaky little waffle munchers. And while this may be a huge loss for the U.S. team, it’s a big win for your girl, Tiffany. Yes. No one’s easier to snag than a pro athlete with low self-esteem.”
Calling out the “Whenever” singer, she said, “Go ask my girl, Meg the Stallion. She’ll tell you.” The joke, however, didn’t land well as the audience groaned and appeared confused. Attempting to make the awkward moment in the room vanish, she instantly made another joke, which eventually sparked laughter. “What? It’s a hot girl summer. I don’t know what you’re talking about,” she joked.
During the June 18 episode, Kimmel announced his hiatus, further clarifying that his 2-month leave is taken voluntarily. He revealed that during his absence, the show will be handled by various guest stars. According to ABC, the schedule for the week is as follows:
