In a recent interview with Page Six, Todd Tucker discussed how he has been navigating life after his separation from Kandi Burruss. He shared that during the initial phase of their breakup, he spent a significant amount of time alone. Todd admitted to experiencing many dark moments as he contemplated what their separation would mean for their family.

“A lot of time and a lot of time in my head, thinking […] trying to figure out, what did I just do? What just happened? Did I lose my family?” Todd reflected.

Todd Spills On How Things Have Changed With Mama Joyce

Todd also mentioned that he has left the drama with Mama Joyce in the past. He expressed that it feels like “a weight lifted off his shoulders,” now that she is no longer directly involved in his life. Tucker explained that while fans witnessed their relationship unfold on television, that same tension was maintained off-camera. Despite their differences, Todd made efforts to win her over, knowing Mama Joyce did not favor him. He emphasized that despite their history, there is no animosity on his part. “That’s still my kids’ grandma, and I want them to have a great relationship, but I’m okay where I’m at now.”

Todd has been sharing insights about his family dynamics while promoting his new series, ‘Til Divorce Do Us Part.’ Recently, during a conversation with Big Tigger on ‘The Morning Show,’ Tucker opened up about how his children have been coping with his divorce from Kandi. He revealed that Kandi’s daughter Riley Burruss has expressed her desire for them to reconcile. He recalled an instance where Riley approached him during a party hosted by his daughter Kaela at his New Jersey home. “She was like, ‘Go get my mom back,’ and it was one of those moments where you can’t even get the words out.”
