Ivy’s Pursuit of Electra and Will Explained by Bold & Beautiful Star

Ashleigh Brewer, who plays Ivy on The Bold and the Beautiful, revealed where the story could potentially go to find out the reason behind her character being so evil. In the recent storyline, she crossed the boundaries of her cruel actions as she desperately interfered in Will and Electra’s relationship and attempted to tear them apart. Brewer’s time on the show has temporarily come to an end, but she’ll likely return after her maternity leave.

Ashleigh Brewer explains Ivy’s hatred of Spencers in Bold and Beautiful

In a recent conversation, Brewer told Soaps.com that in order to find what turned Ivy so cruel, the story could potentially look into her bond with the two Spencer men. She said, “I’d start by looking at her history with Liam and Wyatt — the original hot Spencer boys.”

Her failed relationships with these two could have led her to become overprotective of Electra. This is evident, as she several times stated that she didn’t want Electra to get hurt and believes she deserves better than Will. Although she believed she was protecting Electra from suffering a similar fate, she remained unaware that she was hurting her in the process. Ivy loved Liam earlier, but he dumped her for Steffy. Meanwhile, her relationship with Wyatt fell apart, as she cheated on him, and her lingering feelings for Liam remained.

In the current storyline, Ivy eventually commits to her sins in front of Electra, as she attempts to keep her away from Will. She remained unashamed of her actions as she believed that she did it for her good. Electra gets immensely hurt as she believed that all this time, Will didn’t care.

Ivy interrupts, saying that he still doesn’t, and she wouldn’t mind if she had to break them apart again, leaving Electra shocked. She reminds her of Will’s betrayal before handing over his letter, which she had hidden earlier. Ivy said to her that she’ll thank her one day for whatever she did to separate her from Will. However, Electra was frustrated, calling Ivy the bad guy and asking her to stay away from her business.
