Dane DeHaan and Sasha Calle’s Wardriver to stream on Paramount+

Dane DeHaan and Sasha Calle’s overlooked heist thriller Wardriver is finally heading to Paramount+. According to Paramount+, the film will begin streaming on the platform on July 8, 2026. The release gives subscribers the opportunity to re-watch the film.

Directed by Rebecca Thomas from a screenplay by Daniel Casey, Wardriver was released in theaters on March 20, 2026. The film follows Cole, a hacker who works for anonymous clients online by exploiting weak Wi-Fi networks from inside his car. Using only his laptop, he gains access to company systems and steals money before anyone realizes their accounts have been compromised.

Cole’s work takes an unexpected turn when Oscar confronts him, forcing him to steal nearly $800,000 from Sarah after learning about the money in her bank account. As he carries out the cyberheist, his growing feelings for Sarah complicate the situation and leave him facing consequences far beyond the original job.

The cast is led by Dane DeHaan as Cole and Sasha Calle as Sarah. Other cast members include William Belleau as Doug, Karina Gale as Anna, Cameron Lee Price as Freddie, and Mamoudou Athie as Oscar, among others.

Wardriver received strong critical praise despite a limited number of reviews. On Rotten Tomatoes, the thriller holds a 100 percent critics’ score based on 15 reviews. Meanwhile, its audience score is currently 57 percent.

Shawn Van Horn of Collider reported, “Wardriver feels familiar. It’s Dane DeHaan that makes it worth investing in. If only they had gone deeper, Wardriver could have lifted itself past expectations into something more compelling.”
