Patricia Heaton and Neil Flynn star as Frankie and Mike Heck, parents of 15-year-old Axl (Charlie McDermott), 13-year-old Sue (Eden Sher), and 8-year-old Brick (Atticus Shaffer). The show chronicles the family’s daily misadventures. It also features notable guest stars such as Brooke Shields, Norm Macdonald, and Jack McBrayer.

The Middle premiered in 2009 to positive critical acclaim and aired 215 episodes across nine seasons until its conclusion in 2018. The later seasons, in particular, received widespread praise from critics and audiences alike for their engaging narratives and quirky characters. While it may not be as widely recognized as some other sitcoms of its time, The Middle is a must-watch for comedy enthusiasts.
